Why Are We There Again?

Jason DeFillippo says Bush must go now:

"I just got off the phone with my Mom. We talked for an hour and a half and she told me about her friends that have sons over in Iraq right now that aren't getting enough supplies and food and are feeling like we abandoned them. I'm getting information this week about where we can send food and supplies to our troops over there who need them and will post information here as I get it. I will also set up a new website for the effort. We need to help them. They don't want to be there. The letter specifically talked about having to treat children as just as much a threat as adults and it's just wrong. So I hope that anyone reading this will help. Our government has hung these kids out to dry and I hope that you'll lend a hand. Some of these people aren't just kids. One of them is in his 40's and a reservist that had a week and a half left in his term and was called into emergency duty and forced to go back. If you think that Bush is a good president and should be re-elected please don't come back to this website. I don't want your traffic until you see what is really going on. Seriously. Go read a newspaper and get a clue."

This echos things (the unhappy soldiers part, not the website part) I've heard from friends who have family and friends in Iraq. From Photojournalists I know who are working in Iraq. But is completely opposite the things that keep being reported here in the US. People like US Senators who have no family in the military are telling a very different story. It's amazing how perspective changes when it's not happening to you.
