Stamps.com has launched Photo.Stamps.com where you can upload your own images and print real stamps. Here's some I'd like to see:

We tried this idea in Ireland two or three years back. It was the greatest revolutionary new thing for about fourteen seconds, and then it suddenly became unavailable. I - and no doubt, many philatelists - would very much like to see the one stamp that made the Irish postal service realise that this was really not such a good idea. The rules definitely a catch-all. My logotype was rejected in name of the rules. It is a green background with the words THINK and HISPANIC and a yellow circle. It is visible in my site. The denial seemed me so weird that I pursued, asking: "Are there political connotations in the word Think or the word Hispanic, or their combination? Maybe you imply that Thinking and being Hispanic is an oxymoron? Or do you believe that the name of a marketing enterprise is a political manifesto? Or are you just reluctant to the concept of thinking? Or do you honestly believe that a yellow circle on a green background can have a religious or sexual meaning [that escapes to my mind]?" In response, I got a second and quite irate second denial based, not in the rules you mention but in: "4. Suspension and Termination of Access You agree that Stamps.com may at any time without notice: A. Refuse to accept your orders for PhotoStamps service; Tell me, is this not reason enough to go postal? Posted by: Luis Delboy on August 20, 2004 06:54 PM
But of course, they have steadfastly refused to explain WHY anything is rejected, basically just a "fuck you, we can reject anything for any reason, nyaaaah." I discovered another thing: if they reject the image, it is flagged for auto-reject. If you resubmit the order without re-uploading the image, it will INSTANTLY reject the order. You will then get a "thank you for your order" message followed seconds later by a "we cannot fulfill your order." Droids. Order-bomb them, I say! Let the fun begin!
