Pro-Gun
Finally got to the LA Gun Club last weekend with some friends and had a great time shooting a bunch of different guns. Today I went with one of those friends so he could buy his own gun to shoot there. I'm up in the air on my next gun purchase - Glock 23 or H&K USP 40. Leaning heavily towards the H&K at the moment... Personally, I don't own Heckkies, mostly because they remind me of my youth :), but in terms of sturdyness, ease of stripping, cleaning, and assembling, and recoil management, I prefer the H&K. The Glock "looks" and feels sleeker to me, though :) If you're looking at the .40, try to find someone to sell you the "hostile environment" version in blue and steel, it's corrosion resistant, which at least with my sweaty fingers is a must :).
