del.icio.us loves MT

OK, as you can see from that previous post, the del.icio.us posting to MT hack worked great. Which rules. So each day it will posts the lists I bookmark from the day before. Good stuff.

Do you have a link to the hack? Is it the same one that Matt Haughey is using on his blog?

in your del.icio.us account go to settings/username/daily and you can hook it up from there.

Sean, I still don't quite get it? Going there, and clicking on "Add new thingy" I get a list of boxes with titles of: job_name, out_name, out_pass, out_url, out_time, out_blog_id, out_cat_id.

What do I put in each of these boxes? Is there a help file for this feature yet?

I highly recommend another method: using PHP and Magpie to pull your del.icio.us links into your blog. I do this to create a dynamic linkblog in my sidebar. Magpie has some nice features which reduce the load on both your site and del.icio.us' site, namely caching. See this site for details: http://www.movableblog.com/archives/2004/04/

Sean Bonner has been annoying people on the internet since 1994. Currently he lives in Los Angeles and is the co-founder of Metroblogging. Despite growing up in Bradenton, Yahoo! thinks he's the most important "Sean" on the internets. He's sick of labels. This was his blog until sometime in 2007 when it broke.
