35th - Morning

Just got the the campus and the Bright Side: Gorillas of the Internet panel is just wrapping up. There's some pretty cool (nerdy) stuff on display in the lobby, like the Interface Message Processor which is a giant refridgerator sized thing that was used to send the first e-mails, and hand written notes and maps of how to get AARPANET to work from 1962-69. I'll try to phonecam some of it but don't know how it will show up. The last bit I caught of the first panel was talking about convergance and how the Treo is the apex pinicle of devices at this moment. Now if they could just put a solid camera on it...

Next up is session 2 The Global Side: Impact Beyond Technology with Tim O'Reilly, John Perry Barlow, Dan Gillmor, Larry Patterson and Larry Press.

This is a single entry on a blog written by me, Sean Bonner. Please feel free to look around or even join in whatever conversation might be going on. Or don't. See if I care.

Sean Bonner has been annoying people on the internet since 1994. Currently he lives in Los Angeles and is the co-founder of Metroblogging. Despite growing up in Bradenton, Yahoo! thinks he's the most important "Sean" on the internets. He's sick of labels. This was his blog until sometime in 2007 when it broke. Check out seanbonner.com for current stuff.
