Treo 650 Software Recommendations?
Let's assume for the sake of argument that I'm going to be getting my hands on a sweet, sweet Treo 650 very shortly. Not that I have any reason to think I am or anything like that, and not that I think I'm getting one for my birthday. It's been a long time since I've had any device running Palm OS so I'm a bit in the dark about what I need and what I don't. I know I need to get MarkSpace's "The Missing Sync" so that it plays nice with my Mac and iSync but other than that... ? This is probably a question for Treo 600 and Treo 650 owners already - what is some must have software I need to install? Is there a better browser than the built in one? What about IM? What about voice control for my bluetooth headset. IRC? RSS? Is there any blogging software for it? Anyway, recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

i have had no trouble using isync and the palm conduit to sync with my other palm devices. haven't been able to try it on the treo 650 yet (i will on monday). so, not sure you need missing sync. as for other apps, try some of these: http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.promo&promo=TreoSoftware01&PartnerREF=&siteid=1

I've posted my response here: http://www.fuzzyco.com/news/archives/001199.html
Also, I do NOT use Missing Sync and haven't had any problems (I sync with Entourage, though).

Cingular offers a variety of inexpensive handsets and even a free phone. These phones allow you to talk to other people on the phone and that's pretty fucking cool I think.
