Sick of waiting

I deposited a check the other day and was told it would take 10 days for it to be deposited into my account. That really sucked because I needed the cash then, not 10 days from then. I asked "how come when I write a check it is out of my account in a day or two but when I deposit them it takes 10 days?" the reply... "policy." Luckily some other people know this extra retarded as well. Craig points to Consumers Union who are trying to help get the Consumer Checking Account Fairness Act passed and have a form on their site you can fill out to send a note to your Congressmen letting them know you support the bill. You can read more about it on their site but this is something I'm definitely for.

Frustrating, at the least. Whenever possible, I go directly to the issuing bank and 'get the cash'.

Sean Bonner has been annoying people on the internet since 1994. Currently he lives in Los Angeles and is the co-founder of Metroblogging. Despite growing up in Bradenton, Yahoo! thinks he's the most important "Sean" on the internets. He's sick of labels. This was his blog until sometime in 2007 when it broke.
