Wikipedia Metroblogging page up for deletion
Some guy on Wikipedia decided I was spamming the site when I added a link to the Metroblogging New Orleans coverage to the Hurricane Katrina page. I debated a bit that it was a valid and useful link, especially since other news media is using it as a source and some other wikipedians agreed with me. Now I guess this guy has decided the Metroblogging article should be deleted perhaps to get back at me or something. Anyway, if you agree with him now is your chance to get the things removed. Or if you think it's valid, you can vote for that too. Although if you think it's valid, maybe consider adding something to the article as it's pretty thin in it's current state.
UPDATE: further crucial and important discussion here.
Clairification: If you have never used wikipedia before please DO NOT just set up an account to vote. If you are a regular contributor there or even an infrequent editor who has an account already then please feel free to vote for or against the article. Tons of people setting up new accounts just to vote for this will hurt more than it will help.

As a Metroblog author and an infrequent contributor to Wikipedia, I'm really saddened by this. Isn't the Wikipedia above petty shit like this?

Any document that anyone can change any time is useless.
