They are coming to get you Barbra

I found out about David Wellington's online zombie novel Monster Island after the fact and just couldn't get into reading it online, however the minute I found out it had been published in book format I went straight to Amazon and ordered it. I can't find the link to the online, bloglike version of it (all the links seem to now point to the book order page) but if you haven't read it yet, or even if you have, I'm giving this big props so far and I can't wait for Monster Nation and Monster Planet to be published as well. I'd write more but I am dying to find out what happens next, so back to the book I go.

dave puts out extremely addictive stuff. I was worried when he started his latest, 13 bullets, b/c it didn't have zombies- this time it's vampires. but a few weeks in i'm jonesing every weekend waiting for the monday post.

he really deserves way more recognition than he gets- its good to see you plugging him.

I noticed the posts about this one on BoingBoing and made a note to check it out.

Here's the start of the online version of Monster Island.

Doh. How many times have I forgotten that you don't allow hrefs?

Hey Sean,
Could you teach me your method for reading AND playing WoW at the same time? I tried it and I just keep getting killed by the mobs when I'm reading.

Thanks for the link Sean - you can still get to the version of MI online - just look at the bottom of this page www.brokentype.com/monster for "browse the book Online"
