Ghost disk image, help!!
Does anyone how I can get rid of this? It's been on my old laptop for a year and some how transfered to the new one and I hate it and want it gone. When I throw in the trash it's just right back a minute later. AHHHH!!! Posted by sean on July 3, 2007 08:16 PM | View blog reactions

It's in the Finder sidebar. Drag out of the list, then let go, it should disappear in a puff of smoke. If not, dump the com.apple.Finder.plist file from ~/Library/Preferences/

If those don't work: the icons in the finder sidebar are aliases. Ctrl + click, or right click, on it and select "Open Enclosing Folder". Then delete the sucker. But yeah, you should just be able to drag it out and it should go away. Posted by: todd on July 4, 2007 10:48 AM
