isn't it great when people are so obviously pissed off about their lot in life that they have to take it out on everyone else? This morning I stopped by Ralphs on the way in to the gallery to grab some water since we ran out yesterday and the tap stuff is REALLY gross, what with the construction and all. Anyway I'm headed up to the lanes and notice there's just one person at the express lane and since I've only got 2 items I head that direction. As I get closer I can tell the lady at the cashier is giving the customer hell about something. It's over before I get there and he takes off. The lady looks at me...
Cashier: Got a Ralphs card?
I hand it over and she starts scanning. I walk over the the credit card machine and get ready to do my stuff.
Cashier: Credit or Debit?
*points at the machine*
Cashier: Did you press ATM or DEBIT?
she bitches some more, I reswipe and got the hell out of there.
