04/09/2003 Entry: "Indie movies rock"
In Los Angeles, Arclight is the best theater. They have about 400 screens, so sometimes they show some really small movies, but every screen is large so it's always good. I recently went over there to check out something off the beaten path, to get some cinematic culture and there was this movie playing just twice that day called Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers so I checked it out. Has anyone else heard of it? It's amazing! I guess it's based on a book that's been around for quite some time, and the usher said that it's the second one, and that there's a new one coming out in December. Can you believe that! For those of you not "in the know," you have to find this movie and watch it right now. It's great. I was really confused why there were only seven other people in the theater with me. It's weird that people miss the good indie stuff like LOTR, and would rather go see total crap like Phone Booth. Oh well.

"The Two Towers" what is it? Some kind of documentary about 9/11?
