04/20/2003 Entry: "brownies"
ive been bugging caryn for weeks to buy brownie mix so I can mix up some chocolate goodness and the other night at ralphs she finally gave in. the plan for today was to lounge around and get to brownie making in the early afternoon. all was going as planned until I got the mother of all papercuts while opening the box. that's right, a cardboard cut. a million times bigger, deeper and more painful than the run of the mill papercut. and that was just opening the box. other brownie making injuries ijncluded scalding myself on too hot tap water when I was cleaning out the pan. pinching my tongue in the wires of the wisk when I was attempting to lick off the mix. sore arm from blending it by hand. and a blast of hot air in the face as I went to put the pan in the oven. 15 more minutes to go and these bitches better be worth it.
