remember that amazing scene in Pee Wee's Big Adventure where they show you Pee Wee's kitchen and it's all automated by one thing falling on the other setting off a big chain reaction and making everything work? No? Maybe I've been watching the DVD too much recently. Anyway, if you don't remember it go watch the freaking thing right now. So I just got this link which while interesting to watch at first, gets real unbelieveable when wheels start rolling uphill and it finally reveals itself just to be a dumb ad. Good job guys, you wasted a whole minute of my time and I'm still not going to buy one of your stupid wagons.

OK, yeah, it is a stupid commercial but I actually built something like this in my basement in highschool. It wasn't as sophisticated by any means but it did use a fan, an old matchbox race car set, some marbles, pipes pulleys and set off a line up of dominoes. Yes, I did have too much time on my hands.
Of course I thought the whole commercial was just digital fakery (the tires rolling up hill) but then I stumbled across this article.

Maybe it is bogus, but if not, I have to hand it to the filmmakers, I know what kind of patience (and insanity) it takes to make something like this.
